After a bit of a rest we got into our glad rags had an early tea at the restaurant next door and headed back to the Awards Night. It was very similar to our Awards Night just bigger. They also recognise the outgoing and incoming Advisory Board, the 10 top Artisan AWard winners who will be on the next design team and the top 100 demonstrators (20 Canadian) who will be going to the Founders Circle Retreat. They also announced that the 2015 Grand Vacation would be to.............HAWAII! This will be for the South Pacific demonstrators too.
We then moved to the Gathering Place for the 25th Anniversary Party. There was a live band, gymnasts doing manoeuvres on long strips of material hanging from the roof, male dancers and lots of lovely desserts that went very quickly. There were also lots of games you could play and photo opportunities but again the queues were very long. We also got 6 rolls of washi tape. We sat with a group of ladies from the US who were friends but lived all over the US. Everyone has been so friendly.
Last day of convention is tomorrow and I am looking forward to going on the Grand Vacation where there won't be so many people.
